Rye Park & Zanzibar, Newcastle Under Lyme
Moss Group have been selected to deliver the civils packages for two flagship residential schemes in Newcastle-under-Lyme, on behalf of Capital and centric.
Part of a major programme to breathe new life into underutilised sites in the town centre, the developments will help transform disused industrial land and the site of an iconic former nightclub.
The Rye Park scheme will deliver a new green neighbourhood in the Ryecroft area, comprising 175 homes, 43 of which are designated affordable. The overall development includes a mix of one- and two-bed apartments and three- and four-bed houses.
Rye Park will also feature new commercial spaces and a shared urban park.
Arden Square, Crewe
Moss Group recently complete the Civils/ Groundworks package for the construction of 41,043 sq ft office scheme which will also include 128 parking spaces.

Bristol Vet Specialists
Moss Group recently delivered the Civils contract for a prestigious scheme for the Bristol Vets Specialists.
Contract Value £980,000
- Break out existing Ground floor slab 1,900 m2
- Construction of linear accelerator which included 60T of reinforced steel, 783 m2 vertical formwork, 240m2 false work, 620 m3 structural concrete.
- Construct new reinforced slab 1647 m2 consisting of 54 T reinforcing and 273 m3 concrete.
- Install a coffadam to carry out the installation of a 54,000L klargester storage tank.
- Installation of Pump station and rising main.
- Installation of foul and storm drainage systems.
- External works to include hard/soft landscaping.
Churnet Valley Railway, Leekbrook
Moss Group recently complete a £1.8m Contract to deliver a 2 km track extension to the Leek Moorlands heritage line. Works consist of the below
- Divert 2 km of footpath.
- Install a 880 m2 bearing slab to protect live sewers/Apparatus.
- Construct 2 km of new track bed sleepers and track.
- Install switch track, crossings.
- Associated landscaping works.
Shipley Wharf Retail Park
Moss Group recently complete the Civils/Groundworks package for Shipley Wharf retail park, which consists of a New LIDL superstore and drive through Costa Coffee.
