Moss Group has recently completed the civil engineering and groundworks package for Lancashire County Council (LCC) on a scheme to construct a new state-of-the-art operating theatre.
The project required careful management due to its sensitive location adjacent to a live hospital. Logistics and material management were critical to ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of the works.
The site was also recently recognised with a Considerate Constructors Scheme award.

The scope of works included:

- Suspended slab
- Internal and external drainage
- Hard and soft landscaping
Melland High School, Gorton
Moss Group has recently completed the civil engineering and groundworks package for the construction of a new Special Educational Needs (SEN) building at Gorton Education Village.

- Attenuation tanks
